Research and Resource Development Assistant for the Office for Evangelization and Catechesis of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops
Under the supervision of and in collaboration with the Director of the Office for Evangelization and Catechesis (OEC), the Research and Resource Development Assistant carries out responsibilities as they relate to evangelization and catechesis and performs related tasks for the Office for Evangelization and Catechesis.
In collaboration with the Director, the Research and Resource Development Assistant researches and identifies trends, changes, needs and opportunities in Church and society that affect evangelization and catechesis. Develops and disseminates CCCB resources to promote evangelization. Develops and disseminates CCCB resources for the faith formation of children, youth and families. Develops and disseminates CCCB resources for adult faith formation. Develops and organizes webinars, podcasts and other online resources for the formation of catechists and diocesan personnel involved in evangelization, adult faith formation, and parish and family catechesis. Maintains an online resource center which serves as a “clearing house” for resources and information on evangelization, adult faith formation, the formation of catechists and parish based family catechesis. Develops and edits newsletters and other documents for publication.
