NEW - Archbishop LeGatt’s Easter Message
This year, in his Easter message, Archbishop Albert reminds us of the words of the Holy Thursday entrance antiphon: “We should glory in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, in whom is our salvation, life and resurrection, through whom we are saved and delivered.” (cf. Gal 6:14) As we prepare to enter the high holy days of the Easter Triduum, we are invited to contemplate the Cross not as a sign of defeat, but as the source of our hope — where love is given completely, and where new life begins. Archbishop Albert also calls us to recognize our personal responsibility to be bearers of peace and unity in our world, especially in these trying times.
This mission takes shape in simple, concrete ways: in choosing understanding over division, forgiveness over resentment, and charity in our daily encounters. In a special way during these holy days, this calling becomes tangible. As we walk with Christ through His passion, we are invited to become more like Him: instruments of reconciliation and witnesses of hope. May this Triduum be a time of deep prayer and renewal for you and your loved ones, and may the light of Easter begin to rise gently in your hearts.
VIDEO - About the Synod and Synodality with Michael Higgins
From 2021-24, the Church held the Synod on Synodality. The goal was to encourage the church—clergy, religious and laity—to “walk together” by meaningfully participating in the life of the church through active listening and dialogue. What happened during that Synod? How was it different from previous Church gatherings in Rome? Why is it important for all believers? How do we implement the Synod's Report and counsels? How do we make synodality known, understood and practiced in our parishes? As we seek to walk together in the Holy Spirit... what now?
Join Dr. Michael Higgins, Canadian scholar, writer and frequent commentator on the Catholic Church for Canadian media for an engrossing discussion.

Pastoral Services – Annual Report 2024–2025
"As archbishop, my responsibilities are many: to teach, sanctify, and govern; to share the Good News of the saving Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ; to provide the spiritual and sacramental nourishment necessary for growth in holiness; and to guide people toward a common vision and communion of faith, hope, and love, lived in fraternity, solidarity, and justice.
This service to Jesus Christ and his Body, the Church, can certainly be accomplished, but never by me alone. All the baptized are called to be involved in our archdiocese. This is where the Pastoral Services Team comes in. Its mission is manifested daily as it reaches out to you, especially through your parishes, to help you live your ministry fully in the Church and within your community." - Bishop Albert LeGatt
