So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up. - Galatians 6:9

Clarifications to the COVID-19 Protocol
➡️ Check out this week's message from Archbishop LeGatt, delving into some of the COVID-19 protocol clarifications that were issued earlier this week. In all things, let us always seek to love others. Let us be vigilant in our care and endeavour to protect our sister's and brother's health and wellbeing.
This document addresses many detailed (in-the weeds) questions that have recently surfaced.
COVID-19 – Clarifications for Religious Services UPDATED

Notably concerning weddings and funerals (page 5) and Religious Services (page 6).
Please read as this new version supercedes the one issued last week on October 14.

Bishop LeGatt: Let us be One
This week, as events surrounding the pandemic are enfolding and intensifying in our province, Archbishop LeGatt takes a moment to reflect on the attitudes we must embrace, as Christians. How do we love in the COVID era? Now more than ever, seeing our neighbour as a person is vital. In times of great fear, it can be easy to sow division, to see the other as a threat, to judge without seeking to understand.
Now more than ever, it is essential that we heed Christ's call to be One. One Body. One Church. One community. In Him. Now more than ever, let us strive to seek Truth together, for the common good of all.
Discussions are currently taking place at all levels of parish and archdiocesan administration as to how we can best respond to the developing COVID situation, and to the changing public sanitation measures taking place. A new document, adding to the existing archdiocesan pandemic protocol, will be published early next week. Archbishop LeGatt will also consecrate his video message next week to elaborating on these specific measures we will be undertaking, for the safety and wellbeing of all. Stay tuned!
Bishop LeGatt: A Follow-up from Last Week's CCCB Plenary
This week Archbishop LeGatt first takes a moment to followup up with us about last week’s annual plenary of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB). Some of the main elements that were discussed, which represent some of the top priorities of the bishops in our country, include issues like those surrounding questions of marriage, life and family, continued reconciliation with our Indigenous sisters and brothers, and planning for the future of Development and Peace - Caritas Canada, the Canadian Catholic Church’s efforts to bring help to those in need.
To conclude, Archbishop Albert shares with us the efforts currently being undertaken by the Archdiocese at large to respond to the orange level public safety measures announced by the provincial government last week. Discussions are continuing and next week, his message will be a presentation of these discussions. Please pray for leaders throughout the archdiocese who are consulting one another in hopes of reaching best practices to ensure safe and secure worship for all!
