On April 30th it was St. Marie of the Incarnation’s Feast Day. She was the first superior of the Ursulines of Quebec, she translated catechism books into First Nations languages. It was said that she built healthy and strong relationships with everyone she encountered. Especially with the young ladies she taught. For these few reasons, the Youth Ministry award at the archdiocese bears her name. The nomination process is now open and you are invited to nominate someone who has a youth minister’s heart. Who do you see...
St. Marie of the Incarnation Award
Who do you see… In the next few weeks you’ll be invited to reflect on who you see in your parish that has a youth minister’s heart. Take the time to read the question and think of a person that you’ve seen interact in that way with young people. The next step is to submit a nomination form. It might seem like a small gesture filling out a piece a paper, but it helps everyone when we recognize people who are dedicated to youth.
