Summer Chapels 2026
Our summer chapels allow the faithful to celebrate the Lord's Day when they get away to the cottage or campground. Please see below to know the dates at which different chapels will be open.

*Please note that when a priest is not available, the community gathers to celebrate a Liturgy of the Word presided by a deacon or by the faithful. Communion will be distributed.
Whiteshell Area
Falcon Lake: From May 17 until September 6, mass* will be celebrated every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. The Saint Gabriel and St. Marcien Chapel is located on Falcon Lake Boulevard.
West Hawk Lake: From May 17 until September 6, mass* will be celebrated every Sunday at 9 a.m. The faithful gather in the United Church.
Barrier Bay: From May 17 until September 6, the community will gather at 11:00 a.m. for a Liturgy of the Word presided by a deacon. Communion will be distributed. The chapel of Our Lady of the Whiteshell is located on Route 307.
Jessica Lake: From May 17 until September 6, the community will gather at 9 a.m. to celebrate a Liturgy of the Word presided by a deacon. Communion will be distributed. The chapel of St. Christopher is located on Route 307.
Lake Winnipeg Area
Albert Beach: From June 28 until September 6, mass* will be celebrated in French every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. The chapel is located on Saffie Road between Hacault Street and Deniset Street.
Grand Beach / Grand Marais: Technically not a summer chapel, St. Theresa of the Child Jesus is a small parish attended by many cottagers and visitors during the summer season. Mass will be celebrated every Sunday from May 17 until October 11 at 10 a.m. The church is located at 88 Glenvale Avenue.
Traverse Bay: Saint Marguerite is a parish located in cottage country. From May 3 to October 25, mass* will be celebrated on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. (PLEASE NOTE: There is no Saturday evening mass). The church is located on Pitt Road just north of Traverse Bay Road East.
