A Reflection on Powerlessness While Facing War

Considering the immense suffering that people across the world are experiencing, through war, famine, and catastrophe impacting all corners of our planet, Archbishop Albert shares with us a reflection on how we can respond. Truly, it could be all too tempting to become apathetic in the face of our own helplessness regarding worldwide crises. However, we are not helpless, and must all be actively committed to peace and unity, abroad as much as here at home. Truly, let us pray: God, without you, we can do nothing. But, give us the strength, then, to be your servants, here, now, where we are. Lord, may your Kingdom come.
