Information for Applicants Interested in Substitute Teaching in Catholic Schools in Winnipeg
Those teachers not interested in permanent positions within our Winnipeg Catholic schools, but who would like to be placed on the substitute list for the 17 schools within our organization, may apply on-line through applytoteach.ca or through www.educationcanada.com
Applicants for substitute consideration will also need to have the following documents available for submission:
- Certificate of qualification (or interim certificate) if available
- Cover letter and resume with 3 references
- Recent (within the last 3 years) Child Abuse Registry Check and Criminal Records Search
- A completed "Joint Substitute Application Form" (available by opening the PDF document by that name listed below).
Upon completion and submission of your application either to applytoteach.ca or to the Archdiocese of Winnipeg Catholic Schools, you will be contacted to attend a short interview with the Director of Catholic Education.
We anticipate the need for substitute teachers for all grades for the 2007-2008 school year and welcome applications year-round.
