The Saint John’s Bible

This unique work is the first illuminated and handwritten Bible of monumental size to be commissioned by a Benedictine monastery in more than 500 years. The integral text of the Bible, that is the 73 books of the Old and the New Testaments, is presented in seven volumes of about 1150 pages. Volume 6 of the Saint John’s Bible: Gospels & Acts, is here to help us celebrate the Coming of the Gospel in Western Canada, 200 years ago. Read more about this work of sacred art and learn where and when it will be available in the Archdiocese. Click here.
